Influenster Vox Box: Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation Review

We’ve got another Vox Box folks! This time it’s Rimmel’s brand spanking new foundation, the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation. 

Not sure what Influenster is or how it works? I’ve got more info on the Influenster page, but it’s a great little online community that puts those of us with opinions in contact with free products!

Let me start off by saying this is my kind of foundation. I always think of foundation as that base for creating a beautiful masterpiece. I like a strong matte finish that I can build on top of, and when I put this on in the morning, I really feel like I’m getting that smooth, full-coverage look I’m going for. What I really like about is that it doesn’t feel or look heavy and greasy. It’s actually really lightweight and super soft. It also blends flawlessly and does its part to prevent shine all day long. 

This is a foundation I would absolutely buy again. I can’t give it a more glowing recommendation, I really loved it that much. I’ve been wearing it every day, and will continue to do so until it’s gone!

Has anyone else tried this product? I think it’s pretty new, but I’d be curious to see what else you guys think!

Influenster: Colgate SlimSoft Vox Box

Now let me tell you a little something about Influenster.

Influenster is a free little online community you can join and enjoy reviewing a bunch of different products. Now, after you’ve been a part of the community for a while and after reviewing different products on their site, Influenster may contact you to send you what they call a Vox Box. (This is kind of an overly simple explanation of their process, but you can find out all about it on their website if you’re interested).

Each Vox Box is filled with new products based on the Expert Badges you’ve earned from reviewing products.

Well folks, I got my first Vox Box and it was all about the new Colgate SlimSoft!

Now, I’m not always the best flosser… but I never skip BRUSHING my teeth. And… here’s a little tid bit of fun information for you committed readers out there. I’m preggo. That’s right I’m having a baby. And, why would I mention this in a post about a tooth brush? Because, as my fellow preggo ladies know, for whatever reason, when you’re carrying a little human inside your stomach, your gums become suuuuuuper sensitive. And, let me tell you. This tooth brush couldn’t have come at a better time! Just when my old toothbrush was making me say “ouch,” this little guy had me saying, “ahhhh!” The bristles are just so gentle on my gums, so it was a wonderful change of pace!

In addition to the Colgate Slim Soft toothbrush, the Vox Box also came with a small toothpaste and mouthwash sample. I use Colgate toothpaste anyway, so there was no convincing me there and I was happy to get a little travel size!
